We love to make this holiday special by decorating our homes, and entertaining in style, much like we do over the Christmas period. With that in mind, our clever team has designed an amazing range of Easter-themed items to help you create the most beautiful Easter yet. You’ll find everything to inspire you from gift bags, wrapping paper, and Easter cards to placemats, napkins, and much more. All items are decorated in colourful hues with eggs chickens, and of course bunnies!

bTHE TRADITION OF THE EASTER EGG HUNT

Why did the humble bunny become the world-famous Easter bunny? During the 1700s, German immigrants migrated to the United States and settled in Pennsylvania. They brought with them a tradition that involved an egg-laying hare known as "Osterhase" or "Oschter Haws". Children used to make nests for the creatures to lay eggs in. This tradition evolved naturally into the Easter bunny which has since hopped its way to countries all around the world.

Easter Bunny and chocolate eggs have become iconic symbols of Easter, delighting children and adults alike with their charm and delicious taste. Combining the two creates a magical experience that brings joy and excitement to Easter celebrations. Plan a perfect Easter egg hunt for children and hide colourful eggs throughout the garden, give each child a pretty gift bag to hold their sweet treasures.

As the hunt begins, there’ll be excitement and laughter when they search high and low for their treasures, then screams of delight when eggs are discovered, in no time the Easter basket will be filled, and they’ll bring their haul back to proudly show off. It’s not just an Easter egg hunt – it’s an opportunity to create precious memories that will last a lifetime.

If you're looking to make your Easter egg hunt more engaging for older children and adults, why not organise a scavenger or treasure hunt? Rather than simply hiding eggs in plain sight, you can provide clues or riddles that lead participants to the next egg or Easter gift. This adds an element of excitement and challenge to the activity, making it more entertaining for everyone involved. With each clue, participants will need to search for hidden eggs or gifts, solving puzzles and unravelling mysteries as they go. This is a great way to make your Easter gathering more interactive and engaging for the whole family. It’s even more fun if you do this in teams!

WHEN TO PUT EASTER DECORATIONS UP

People often ask - when do you put up your Easter decorations? There are no strict rules, so it’s totally up to you. However, if you're going to put in the effort to decorate your home, why not enjoy it for as long as possible? A good time to start is usually 2-4 weeks before Easter. You can begin by placing an Easter doormat at the entrance to your home to welcome your guests, then you can spread some bunny cheer throughout your home. However, it may be a good idea to keep the chocolate eggs well out of sight and reach until much closer to Easter!

HOW TO STYLE YOUR HOME THIS EASTER

Catching up with family and friends is a top priority for many people over the weekend and entertaining at home provides a perfect opportunity to do so. To ensure that the host can also participate in the festivities, planning a delicious menu that doesn't require too much time in the kitchen is a good idea. Additionally, creating a festive table setting can help set the celebratory mood, so whether you're setting a brunch table or preparing for a dinner party, a little decoration can go a long way in transforming a meal into a celebration and making your guests feel special.
