Our recent competition attracted a huge number of entries – our biggest yet!
We asked you to tell us your favourite product from the 2023 Provincial Christmas collection and why.
Firstly, thank you to everyone who entered the competition and took the time to share their favourite Provincial Home Living Christmas product, it made this competition very special. Reading about the special memories and experiences you associate with our products was heart-warming.
It must have been a delightful challenge to choose a favourite among our Christmas products, given the array of options we offer. Your diverse preferences highlight the uniqueness of our collection and the varied ways our products contribute to the magic of the season. Your participation has added another joyful touch to the season – our team loved reading all the entries.
You also made our job very challenging – reading through all the fabulous entries and then choosing a winner, a runner-up and a third-prize winner. They brought up a lot of our own memories of Christmas too! After a lot of deliberation, we chose the following:
1ST PLACE
"My favourite Provincial Home Living Christmas item this year has got to be the Festive Terrace and Cottage Decorations. The sweet little homes will be the perfect addition to our table. I know my kids will love to dream up stories of who lives in each home."

"I love the Christmas placemats, matching napkins and coasters. I collect different ones each year. They are so much fun and make the table really pop! They are always a talking point. They are effortless to use, and super easy to clean up!"

"My favourite is the Christmas Pine Diffuser. When I was young, every Christmas my dad would get a real pine tree for Christmas. Really would be lovely to smell that on Christmas day and remind me of Christmas when I was young. Not to mention it's such a unique gift."

The scent, combined with the smell of Christmas baking, will melt the biggest Grinch, and simmer any family tensions for a truly merry festive season.” – Martine B
“My daughter and I adore the festive cottage decorations. Each year we add to our collection, and we love using them for imaginative play. We make up stories relating to Christmas and where in the world this village might be. She's two and a half so sometimes a unicorn miraculously appears.” – Skye S
“My favourite product is the Twinkle Bird Clip in silver. It brings back childhood memories as we used to have similar birds, that we would place on our Christmas tree. They got broken over the years, it would be great to buy some and start more memories with the family.” – Julie G
“I just love the paper products; paper table mats, paper napkins, paper fold-out trees, wrapping paper - such a sustainable way to create a beautiful Christmas kaleidoscope each year that is different to or builds on the year before. “Tree clips! Definitely a winner because I have never seen anything like them before. Such a small simple item that packs a punch. I especially like the new candle design. Certainly, even in small homes or apartments, they look very festive attached to a garland.” – Felicity B
“The Festive Apron, brings back memories of Christmas mornings unwrapping toys, while Mum was madly cooking and delicious smells! I remember the apron scrunched up at 1 pm after a morning preparing food and finally being ready to relax. Now I'm older I get the joy of doing this for my family.” – Shenayd P
“My favourite product in the Provincial Christmas collection is your apron. It represents everything about Christmas that l love. Family coming together to enjoy our favourite Christmas treats, and to try some new ones until we all collapse on a floor, sofa or bed into a delicious food coma.” – Jill S
“Love, Love, Love the Christmas tea towel collection this year. I have purchased them from you in the past and used them to wrap gifts for family and friends to add that extra indulgence and texture. Great work design team this year's design/colours will stand out under my tree.” – Felicity B
“The Festive Car Bauble holds Christmas nostalgia. Youthful memories gushing with pre-emptive excitement and expectation of summer holidays at Noosa. The mind's eye remembers that old VW Beetle loaded to the gunnel surfboards atop as we hit the road for the beach on Christmas eve.” – Cheryl A

What is really obvious reading all the entries – Christmas is all about family, memories and the making of new memories and we are proud to be a small part of that with your Christmas.
