Shipping Information

Provincial Home Living has a large interstate customer base and is happy to supply our products, Australia wide. All items are shipped from our warehouse in Victoria with Toll Ipec for smaller items or Capital transport for Furniture, to arrive according to the following timetable. In the event of a delay, we will notify you by email or phone. The purchase price of our Provincial Home Living product/s excludes any delivery costs, therefore you are required to provide us with your delivery details in order for our business to quote the appropriate freight charges.


Shipping & Handling Charges

Small to Medium Products

Provincial Home Living will, on behalf of the customer, organise appropriate freighting, Australia Wide. All freight costs are payable by customer. Shipping is calculated on weight, size and distance at checkout, but you can get an estimate on each product page. We suggest that you choose a delivery address where someone is present to accept your delivery during business hours. Your workplace is the ideal delivery point. Please provide a physical address for delivery, as we are not able to deliver to P.O. Boxes. It is possible to track your order using the courier company’s online tracking system.

Furniture

Due to the unique and handcrafted nature of our large furniture pieces, we have carefully chosen a carrier experienced in furniture carrying to ensure professional attention. Please provide a physical address for delivery, as we are not able to deliver to P.O. Boxes. Once the order has been placed and collected from our warehouse, you will be contacted and arrangements will be made for a delivery time (day and morning or afternoon)

The appropriate one or two man delivery will be automatically chosen for you, depending on the weight and/or size of the furniture.

  • Delivery pricing does not include removal of old furniture

These options are currently available in Melbourne Metro, Geelong, Mornington Peninsula, Sydney Metro, Wollongong/Southern Highlands, Central Coast/Newcastle, Blue Mountains/Hawksbury, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Redbank Plains to Ipswich, Adelaide, Perth metro.

Delivery

You are liable for payment of all delivery charges, including any additional charges incurred as a result of difficulties with access. You must ensure correct delivery address details are provided to us and notify us in advance if there will be difficulties accessing the delivery address (e.g. staircases or narrow passages) as extra charges may apply.

We will use reasonable endeavours to meet the estimated delivery date. If we do not meet the estimated delivery date for any reason, our liability will be limited, at our option, to resupplying the goods at a different time or at a maximum, to the refund of the purchase price.

Products will only be delivered if a person aged over 18 years and able to accept delivery is at the delivery address. Should an appropriate person not be available to accept delivery on the pre-arranged delivery date, you will be charged for transport and re-delivery costs.

You are responsible for ensuring there is adequate access and entry to the site to allow the delivery of the products.

It is possible to track your order using the online tracking system of Capital Transport.

Upon agreement and payment of the freight charges, the customer is responsible to all terms and conditions of the individual Courier Company of their choice. Once your order has left our warehouse, Provincial Home Living will not be responsible for any delay in delivery time, lost or damaged deliveries, as a result in the handling of these orders with the Courier Company of your choice.

This Returns Policy applies to online and phone order purchases only. Provincial Home Living want you to be delighted with your online shopping experience, therefore, we endeavour to provide you with as much information about our policies so that you can make an informed decision. Return Policy

You may return the product for an exchange or credit note providing:

  • Original receipt, or proof of purchase is presented
  • Product/s are returned within 14 days from date of purchase
  • Product/s are in their original condition and packaging

Refund Policy

Please choose carefully. A refund will not be offered for change of mind. A refund will apply if:

  • Product/s are identified as faulty
  • Product/s do not perform the intended purpose as represented
  • Product does not match the description provided.

Return/Return Process

If for any reason you are not satisfied, you will need to obtain a return authorisation number by contacting Provincial Home Living via email: webshop@provincialhomeliving.com. au or call us on 03 9089 1351.

  • Please advise your name, original order number, what product(s) you wish to return and your reason for returning
  • Please print the Return Authorisation Form and attach the completed form to each box being returned.
  • Items must be returned in their original, unmarked condition and packaging within 14 days for a full refund or credit note (shipping charge is not refundable).
  • A copy of the original packing slip or invoice, or other proof of purchase, must be included with the returned product.
  • Once we receive the returned products we will issue your credit note or refund within 10 business days.

Please note the following terms and conditions that apply to our Return Policy:

  • Proof of payment must be verified.
  • The returned item/s must be in our possession within 14 days of your Authorisation Number received. Shipping & handling charges are non refundable.
  • Returned items must be in the original condition, not used or altered. All products will be inspected prior to return policy being actioned.
  • Customers must request a return authorisation number prior to returning. Unauthorised returns WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!
